Hlengiwe Malabie
Hlengiwe Malabie is the Founder of VersaLuxe, a leading retail, distribution and bulk supply company specialising in hygiene, paper and cleaning solutions across South Africa. With a background in the catering industry and professional training as a chef, she developed a deep understanding of operational excellence, client service and reliable supply chains.
After witnessing recurring challenges with inconsistent quality and unreliable suppliers in hospitality, she made the strategic move from service delivery to product supply — building VersaLuxe into a scalable, trusted partner businesses can depend on. Through VersaLuxe, she has grown two in-house brands: FreshPly, premium paper products for households, hospitality, healthcare and high-traffic environments, and FreshAro, a cleaning and hygiene range for home, commercial, industrial and automotive use.
As a Black female entrepreneur and B-BBEE Level 1 business owner, she's focused on creating opportunities, building strong local brands, and setting new standards of professionalism in the supply industry — with VersaLuxe growing into a national and continental leader.
